Community Health Program

This is a participatory program. The program participants get health cards in exchange of a sum of money. They receive free prescription service and health advice from the community physician (MBBS doctor) and Health Workers. Community contribution (health card fee, health camp income) meets a major part of the program cost.

Mentionable results of the program are:

>> Health awareness rose among women.
>> Free medical consultation service has reached the doors of pregnant women breast-feeding and mothers.
>> Social acceptance of family planning and EPI program increased.
>> Safe water use and sanitation knowledge rose among the villagers.
