Integrated Health and
Development Program includes a variety
of components, such as institution building,
capital raising, income generation,
primary health care, functional education,
training etc. The working area under
the project is Mirpur Thana under Kushtia
District.
The achievements of
the Projects have been as follows:
Under Mirpur Thana,
45 villages were covered and organized
180 female groups, comprising a total
program participants of 5,315. Capital
was accumulated to the extent of Tk.
32,11,720, while loan disbursement was
to the tune of Tk. 68,53,640. 2,580
female group members completed functional
education and received Primary Health
Care service. 2,560 group members and
community people received Skill &
Development training.
